I am kind of an OCD mom, which is hard because when you have kids there's always a mess trying to take over some areas of your house o.O. Thankfully that's not the case in my kitchen. I love to have everything clean and organized. Of course, i love to recycle too. When i was little i remember my grandmother going to the supermarket and when she got home, put all the plastics bag inside one and left them in a corner. Later at night she will sit at 7pm to watch her telenovelas and fold the plastics bags into little rolls. One night i was helping her and i remember i asked "Abuela, why do you always do this with the bags instead of throwing them away?." And she said: "Well, i like to reuse them later, that way i don't spend money on plastic bags for the trash can, plus i simply roll the because that way i keep them organize and save space at the same time." pretty clever don't you think?!?!. I have several reusable tote bags i have bought, but sometimes you have so much to buy at the supermarket, that the reusable ones are simply not enough.
Now, i have been doing the same thing for quite a while and it has worked really well, no weird thingy drilled on the wall, no messy drawer under the oven. It's so easy, trust me you will thank me later.
