Different Ways to Clean Your Makeup Brushes

Cleaning makeup brushes is a practice that comes from years and years, yet... A few know about it or don't know how to do it... I swear, i'm not even kidding. Cleaning your brushes and beauty blender is not only a process and a way to keep your brushes clean but also extend the life of your brushes. When you use them makeup, oil, dirt and even bacteria get trapped on them. Not cleaning your brushes could lead to clogged pores and even breakouts. After all, they are the tools we use to look DASHING, why not return the favor. ;)

So, here are a couple of products you can use to clean and take care, plus the way i clean them which is super easy and quick.

First of all, you can use things you already own. For example, did you know you can use a bar soap? massage your brushes on the bar and rinse with lukewarm water.
Dish soap and a sponge will do the trick too.
And olive oil. Olive oil not only conditions the bristles but if you submerge the brushes on oil and then wipe them with on a towel, you will see all those caked-up pieces of products come off.

Second, companies now days have "shampoo cleansers" for your brushes. Companies like Clinique, Ulta, Real Techniques, elf, etc. My favorite so far is EcoTools, not only the product is affordable but also hypoallergenic, parabens and phthalates free.

Third and the one i regularly use. Brush egg and baby shampoo. Just pour a little bit of baby shampoo on the egg, which cost no more than $2.00 on amazon, swipe in circular motions and voilá! Clean brushes!

Let them dry on top of a towel or hang them on your towel rack with a hair tie and that's it! They are ready to use!
I also created a little "Tutorial" to give you an idea on how I clean my brushes. Hope you like it! Until next time peeps. God bless!!

Popsugar Must Have and Must Have Mini / Unboxing and Review

POPSUGAR Must Have is a monthly lifestyle subscription. They have 2 boxes the "Must Have" which cost $39.95 and the "Mini Must Have" for $18.95. Each box is filled with their "must have" products for beauty, fashion, fitness etc.

That's the intro xD

Every month i try my best to subscribe to different's boxes. I am kinda looking for "The One". I have been following POPSUGAR for awhile now. When i ordered it, i order both the "Must Have" and the "Mini Must Have" just to compare and see what the fuss is about.

Let me save you some money and time...

The Must Have is a pretty decent box. Mine this month Included...
  • A book
  • Cocoa
  • A coffee Mug
  • Shower Gel
  • Umbrella
  • Eye liner
  • A make up eraser (mini towel)
The umbrella alone retails for $58.00 O.o (nope, not lying), so that one is ok! I see my self re-ordering again.

The "Mini Must Have" oh Lord Jesus. When i opened the box, which you can see my reaction on the unboxing video below, i was SHOCKED. For a "Must Have Box" that cost $18.95, was pretty much empty to me. It has 3 products. Socks, sticker and a blush duo. When i pay that much for a box i am expecting something like Beauty Box 5, Boxycharm, Glossybox, Allure. Maybe, i chose a bad month to try, maybe that's how they work. But in my opinion, it's not worth the money.

Get the box HERE and don't forget to watch my unboxing video below!

Premium Aloe Vera Collagen Face Mask Review

Ladies and Gents!!! Meet the sister of the Dead Sea Collagen mask... Aloe Vera Collage Mask!

What's the difference? Well, besides the color and the obvious. This mask helps you fight wrinkles, fine lines, blemishes, tightens pores, black heads, eczema. If you ask me, right now i just took it off (literally) and my face feels more refreshing and soft. Like the other mask, i put this on the fridge before heading to the shower for a more cooling and relaxing sensation... Just like the spa!

It gives you a more young, firmer, refreshed looking skin.
The only thing i don't like is that the holes were the eyes and mouth are suppose to go are really small, but nothing a little scissor cut can fix! And the one around the mouth is super big.

Dead Sea Collagen Face Mask and Skin Care Routine

For a 35yo mom, (yup, i said it, 35.. moving on) I am always looking for skin care products to add to my routine. One of my favorite are the Face Mask. I love throw them in the fridge before taking a bath. The cold, refreshing and moisturized feeling it's just amazing. Normally i apply them before going to bed and next day BOOOOM!! Awesome, glowing looking skin.

My latest obsession is this Dead Sea Mud Mask by #IBeautyLabs
This mask gives you the collagen, vitamins and minerals your skin needs. It hydrates your face helping you maintain a refreshed, firmer and more youthful appearance. It also gets rids of pimples, blackheads and breakouts.

This mask is definitely a plus. Instead of those messy mud mask, this one is mess free, easy to put on, no washing your face after, no cleaning the sink after and the results are amazing.

Definitely a must have in your skin care routine. Check out the mask HERE

IDAODAN Digital Kitchen and Food Scale Review

Are you looking to keep track of the ounces or grams of food you are consuming everyday or are you a chef (even at home). Then you definitely need this mini Digital Kitchen and Food Scale. It's really small, convenient and it just needs 2 batteries 3A which comes included.

It comes with 2 acrylic trays which work and function as lids too. For easy and more convenient storage. Super light weight and too. Now, the techy stuff, you NEED to read the instruction CAREFULLY to set it up. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy but at first I did some kind of trouble programming the whole thing, but again, that could be me being a first timer using one of these!

Other than that, it's definitely a plus and an absolute must have on your kitchen. Get it HERE #IDAODANFOODSCALE
